From Pet to Plate, Cuy or "Guinea Pig" as this local delicacy is referred to in the States is a refreshing change to the northern palate.  Unlike most unusual food, Cuy, known for the sabor or "flavor" of its thick, chewy, oily skin does NOT taste like chicken.
"And now that my temper is up, I may as well go on and abuse everybody I can think of."

-Mark Twain

“Chronic Remorse, as all moralists are agreed, is a most undesirable sentiment.  If you have behaved badly, repent, make what amends you can and address yourself to the task of behaving better next time.  Rolling in the muck is not the best way of getting clean.”

-Aldous Huxley

-“Brave New World” 1932

“Having been condemned by nature and fortune to an active and restless life.”

-Jonathan Swift

-“Gulliver’s Travels” 1726

“Of course it does.  Actual happiness always looks pretty squalid in comparison with the overcompensations for misery.  And, of course, stability isn’t nearly so spectacular as instability.  And being contented has none of the glamour of a good fight against misfortune, none of the picturesqueness of a struggle with temptation, or a fatal overthrow by passion or doubt.  Happiness is never grand.”

-Aldous Huxley

-“Brave New World” 1932
